YALI Network Anambra presents a Face2Face Event
Yali Anambra was lauched on 23rd of march 2018, but with young, intelligent and energetic leaders in the network, they have been able to host couples of events in the state. This is one of they events coming up this weekend join them as you create a network for yourself.
Theme: UNDERSTANDING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IMPACT STRATEGIES
Date: Friday 25th May 2018
Time 2pm - 5pm
Venue: DevAmplify Hub, 1st Floor, Grace and Faith Plaza (near Aroma junction), Awka.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
These 17 development Goals and their 169 targets, build on the successes of the erstwhile Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), while focusing on key areas including poverty alleviation, democratic governance and peacebuilding, climate change and disaster risk, and economic inequality.
This event is geared at creating awareness on the SDGs and how the young people can key into helping to solve world problems. We hope to also help align our initiatives properly along the various SDGs' key indicators towards global relevance.
