1. If he spends too much money in the course of his campaign like a businessman lobbying for a contract.
2. If he starts over promising, talking like he will fix ALL the problems in one single stroke with his magic wand.
3. His campaign will never be issue based, it will mainly be about attacking his opponents, promoting one tribe or people while pulling down another or playing the marginalised card.
4. He will always tell you what you want to hear, he will never tell you where you the voter is getting it wrong. All he does is to please you till he gets into the political office.
5. Once he has a father Christmas kind of financier, financiers who try to appear more patriotic than all the citizens combined.
6. If he has little or no knowledge of the history of the people he wants to represent/serve.
7. If he lacks integrity in his personal and public life with no history of being uncompromising then forget it.
If you spot any contestant for a political office that is found wanting in any of these will not perform optimally. Take this to the bank.
